CHERYL L. RONK

Cheryl L. Ronk’s practice encompasses personal injury, premises liability and insurance law. She has acted as lead trial attorney in more than 20 trials. She has also written and argued more than 20 appeals in both the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court. The Michigan Supreme Court case of Monat v State Farm, in which Ms. Ronk was involved as an advocate, was named one of the most important Michigan Supreme Court decisions of the year by “Michigan Lawyers Weekly.” Additionally, Ms. Ronk is a contributor to “Michigan Insurance Law and Practice,” an attorney practice manual published by the Michigan Institute of Continued Legal Education. During law school, she was named the associate making the greatest contribution to the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review.

Ms. Ronk received her J.D, cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1995 and her  LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law, magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law in 2011. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan and has appeared before the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court on numerous occasions.  She is also a member of the Michigan Association for Justice and the Oakland County Bar Association.  The Firm generally schedules appointments between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (Eastern Time) Monday through Friday.
